Happy Birthday Coach

It is without doubt a privilege and a pleasure to convey to you a profound hope for a blessed and happy 70th birthday. As we move through the poetry of time our reflections of the places and people we have met change into myths and epics. Folk become grander and more meaningful than they were in our past. Occasionally, we remember someone who cannot become anymore grander than they actually were. You were a bright light in an often dark world. You helped me to have a better life and taught me values of rectitude, mutuality, and forbearance. We who were blessed to travel through your circle of live are forever thankful, for in your presence life was better. Or to use a football metaphor, when God made you, he outkicked his punt coverage.
