I am honored to have been asked to participate in your 70th birthday celebration. Who'd a thought this type of communication would be available back in the early 70's. Watching you and other coaches tape ankles and knees was high tech to us. And to watch you chew all that tape was amazing. I felt sorry for those opposing players. or referees, that were the target of some of those tape balls.
During your coaching career, you have touched the lives of probably thousands of young men and women. I am so blessed to have been one of those.
